MassiveMusic and Deep House Amsterdam have joined forces with Sounds of Change to collaboratively support and empower its mission to change the world through music. For ‘Instruments for Change’, musicians from all over the world were invited to the studio to record a variety of instruments that are unique to their home country. The recordings gave life to a virtual software instrument (VST) and a sample pack, capturing the unique qualities of the instruments and their traditional sound. Thanks to its richness and versatility, DJs, producers and musicians are now able to purchase and download the sample pack, making their creations even more unique. All this while supporting a great cause, as all proceeds go to Sounds of Change to provide musical training in conflict-affected areas and help empower communities in need.

Instruments for Change is part of the ‘Music x Mind’ initiative. Our mission with ‘Music x Mind’ is to empower people through music and hopefully inspire others to value it as we do. We believe music is largely therapeutic, as it has been scientifically shown to reduce stress and depressive symptoms in people who suffer from emotional unease. We feel it’s time not just to talk but to act: working on projects that help people in vulnerable situations makes us hope for a better world.

DHA, formerly known as Deep House Amsterdam, started as an electronic music media platform, converting new audiences through carefully curated music and editorial selections, serving 1.5 million monthly users. We are currently expanding with an educative platform for up and coming DJs and Producers, offering both online and physical courses. With our industry connections, DHA is at the forefront to provide the insights needed to make your way into the music scene.
Sounds of Change >
Sounds of Change's goal is to create diverse and inclusive societies. We want to break through cultural and social barriers between people and make them feel part of something bigger. A strong community in which people can express themselves, discover their potential and determine a common ground of values. Through the power of music, people become pro-active role models for social change in their community. We work in the Middle East to give musical training in areas of conflict to reach this goal.
